On our journey
to Kintamani, we will visit an interesting
tourism object, that is, Goa Gajah Temple.
Goa Gajah Temple is located in Bedulu Village,
surrounded by rice field with beautiful valley
of Petanu River.
The name of Goa Gajah is in integration of
Goa Temple (a local people called) and old
name written in the artefacts, like Ergajah
and Lwagajah. The names of Antakunjarapada
and Ratnakunjarapada also contained the name
of Gajah (kunjara) in the artefacts dated
the end of tenth century. The archaic of this
temple can also be proved by the archaelogical
remains.
